Issue 54
The latest illustration and animation commissions for KFC, La Mer, and of course, FIFA...
Does anyone remember the urban myth that KFC had to change their name because legally they weren't selling Chicken but rather some secretly using genetically engineered, multi-legged, headless mutant creatures? I only just vaguely remembered it but it was actually a thing! Anyway, their cole slaw is really great, as is this brand spanking new rebrand that is doing the rounds. (How is that for segues?) Actually, KFC have actually been commissioning some great illustration for some time now, so it's nice to see how they have taken it on more fully in this very bold rebrand. Whether or not it will actually translate past the case study to a broader application is yet to be seen, but it's definitely our pick of the week for the bold art direction alone. And not for the you know...mutant chickens. (which are delicious).
