Issue 32
Our last weekly round-up for 2025!
We somehow made it to the end of the year without doing any kind of illustration wrapped or trend report, you're welcome. We're just going to keep it simple with our favourite commissioned illustration from the last fortnight with our pick of the week going to Luis Mendo's fantastic work for Wako. This one just gives us the warm and fuzzies all over. Department store Christmas windows might just be the highest form of art right now as well, and the one thing that separates us from total chaos. Anyway! Luis is also an all around great person who has been a big supporter of PencilBooth and this blog for a long time, you should buy his new book too.
Anyway, thank you for reading this for the last year - we hope we've brought some joy to your inbox and perhaps opened you up to a new talent or two along the way. We're taking a two week break and will be back to our regularly scheduled posting in the new year. Thanks everyone! 💫
